Aimless Wonderers

I was digging around through photos of past trips to upload to our relatively new Flickr page. And I stumbled across these from a quick end-of-season trip to Second Beach in September of 2013. I never got around to writing a blog post about it, maybe because this magical place. Is already our most blogged about location. Either way, these pictures brought back fond memories of a beautifully misty, grey weekend trip.

Making Waves

Sunday, May 17, 2015. In a desert state of mind. There was one other vehicle in the parking lot when I arrived and no one to be seen but this guy. I know coyotes are suppose to be more afraid of me than me of them but from this guys behaviour, I was not sure of his intention. I waited in my car for about 20 minutes until he went on his way. I found the inukshuk field. I set up my camera to take a destination shot beside the inukshuk in the bottom lef.

Mandag, juni 01, 2015.

Big Rock Excursions

Ramblings of a northwest free-time hiker. Sunday, December 13, 2015. Four Mount Baker Club members ventured out to Wallace Falls State Park located off Hwy 2 in Snohomish County to check out this incredibly scenic trail. The tall cedar trees, lush moss and high volume of water rushing down Wallace River did not disappoint! The route was easy to follow and offered a wide variety of viewpoints along the way.
